Loading ...On this day we would like to echo the sentiments of the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and join in the chorus of sentiment toward the stolen generations. In addition to the stolen generations, the inequity of Aboriginal people is simply wrong.
It is with a very heavy collective heart that we now truly understand why this apology was necessary. Seeing the pain of the past in the faces of these people is very humbling.
We wish the First Australians well in their quest for healing and hope that today marks a turning point in their past in favour of their future.
